Our Team

Meet your Instructor

Alice B

Alice B

Studio Coordinator & Yoga Instructor

Alice has been teaching yoga since 2016 and is an accredited yoga teacher and yoga therapist, having completed over 900 hours of training. She came to yoga as a way of helping her to manage arthritis, and has since adopted many of the yogic practices and principles as a way of life. Alice is passionate about sharing the many benefits of yoga beyond the physical, and she truly believes yoga is for everybody. This belief is reflected in her teachings through the use of props and permissive language, as well as offering a variety of options and variations in her classes. Alice encourages her students to work mindfully on the mat, and hopes to empower everyone to take agency over their body and their practice. Alongside teaching yoga, Alice is also a Massage Therapist and has been delivering massage therapy at Comfort Health for the past five years. She is also Studio Coordinator at Flow, working alongside Matt and Emma to help establish the studio and keep it running smoothly. Additionally to this Alice has recently completed a Level 3 diploma in Counselling Skills. These additional therapeutic skills influence the way in which she holds space and approaches working with the body. Alice describes her classes as grounding, steady and strong.

Chloe

Chloe

Yoga Instructor

Chloe’s yoga journey began around 10 years ago while she was at university. During a challenging time with her mental health, a friend recommended yoga as a way to help. At first, her practice was very physical, and she loved a powerful Vinyasa class. Over time, her relationship with yoga evolved and became more spiritual. In 2024, Chloe took the leap and booked a one-way ticket to India to complete her yoga teacher training. Since then, she has taught around the world, including in the Philippines and Sri Lanka, and now teaches yoga in Bristol. Her teaching blends dynamic Vinyasa flow with the depth of Yin yoga, offering a balanced and intentional practice. Chloe plans her classes around a central theme, drawing on both modern understandings of the body and nervous system and traditional yoga philosophy. Her aim is to support students in cultivating strength, ease, and a greater sense of wellbeing in both body and mind.

Kristina

Kristina

Yoga Instructor

With over 10 years of yoga practice, Kristina has found yoga to be a constant source of support, growth and grounding throughout her life. Since beginning her teaching journey in 2022, her intention has been to share what yoga has given her in a way that feels authentic, accessible and supportive. Kristina's classes offer a range of tools and encourage each student to use them in whatever way best suits their body, mind and energy on any given day. She believes in giving students the freedom to adapt, explore and make the practice their own. Her hope is that every student leaves class feeling even just a little better than when they arrived — whether physically, mentally or emotionally. Creating that space and sharing something she truly believes in is what she is most passionate about.

Jordan

Jordan

Pilates Instructor

Jordan is a Mat Pilates instructor, personal trainer and lifelong lover of movement. Having played sport to a high standard, she's always been fascinated by what our bodies can do, and she genuinely believes Pilates is the full meal ticket - building strength, control, resilience and a really strong connection between the mind and body. Her approach is warm, encouraging and inclusive, but that doesn’t mean you won’t work hard! She loves creating classes that feel welcoming for everyone, whilst offering plenty of challenge for those who want to ramp up the heat. Alongside her Mat qualification, she's also a certified Reformer instructor, with additional CPDs in pre- and postnatal fitness, menopause fitness and menstrual health, as well as HIIT and Strength & Conditioning. She's also a certified Life Coach, so she's a big believer in creating space for the whole person, not just following a class-plan. She can't wait to see you in the studio!

Charli

Charli

Pilates Teacher & Physiotherapist

Charli is a fully comprehensively trained pilates instructor with a background in physiotherapy and professional dance. Combining clinical expertise with a lifelong passion for movement, she creates classes that are both effective and enjoyable. Known for her warm, welcoming spirit, she encourages people to move with confidence and connect with their bodies. Her inclusive approach helps clients build strength, mobility, and body awareness, while fostering a positive and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable and empowered.

Sarah

Sarah

Pilates Instructor

Sarah teaches Pilates and Barre and is a Personal Trainer, with a passion for strength training that goes beyond the physical. Her approach is rooted in precision, control and purposeful movement, creating results that are felt from the inside out. She believes that the most powerful training starts from a grounded, centred place. By weaving the Pilates breath into every session, a tool to calm the nervous system, anchor the mind and connect to the body, Sarah creates a space where real strength can be built, rather than forced. Her approach is intentional and technique-led. Whether in a Barre class, Pilates session or 1:1 personal training block, every movement has a purpose. She’ll challenge you with endless encouragement, leaving you not only stronger, but more connected to and empowered within your body.

Ellie

Ellie

Yoga Instructor

Yoga has been Ellie’s anchor since she was a teenager - a practice she has carried through every chapter of her life that has changed alongside her. Trained in Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin in India (2016), she has since completed a 350-hour Krama Vinyasa training rooted in non-dual Shaiva Tantra in Bristol. Her classes draw on gentle movement, myofascial therapeutics and embodied anatomy to create space to slow down and listen. Expect a quiet exploration of breath, sensation and stillness; an invitation to soften your pace and come home to your body.

Immy

Immy

Yoga Instructor

Immy was first introduced to yoga and meditation by her grandmother, planting the seeds of a lifelong journey into self-connection, awareness, and compassion. Over the years, yoga has been a steady guide through every chapter of her life; the beautiful, messy, and everything in between. Now, she’s passionate about sharing this practice as a tool for grounding, growth, and joy. With a playful spirit and a steady, grounded presence, Immy creates a space where curiosity is welcome. Her classes are accessible, inclusive, and intuitive; meeting you wherever you're at. Trained in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Rocket, Yin, and Mantra, Immy weaves together the dynamic energy of yang practices with the deep nourishment of yin.

Abbie

Abbie

Yoga & Pilates Instructor

Abbie is a Personal Trainer with additional qualifications in Nutrition and Pre & Postnatal Fitness. She is also a passionate instructor in Fitness Pilates, Yoga, BodyBalance, BodyStep and RPM. Her approach to fitness is centred around creating balance — combining strength and cardio with mindfulness and overall wellness to help clients feel stronger, healthier and more confident, both physically and mentally. Abbie believes fitness should be empowering, enjoyable and adaptable to each individual, and she is passionate about supporting clients on their fitness journey.

Alice K

Alice K

Pilates Instructor

With a background in competitive acrobatics gymnastics, Alice brings a strong foundation in movement, balance and body awareness to her Pilates teaching. After discovering Pilates while managing back pain and postural imbalances, she experienced first-hand its ability to build strength, improve alignment and support long-term wellbeing. Since qualifying in January, she has taught across studios and gyms in Weston-super-Mare, Bristol and Nailsea. Her classes blend classical Pilates foundations with contemporary movement, thoughtful progressions and creative sequences, creating flowing sessions that challenge and support all abilities. Above all, she aims to create a welcoming space where everyone feels confident, empowered and excited to move.

Clara

Clara

Pilates Instructor

Clara teaches Mat Pilates alongside her career as a Doctor in Elderly Care Medicine. She first discovered Pilates after being diagnosed with Inflammatory Arthritis at 18. Through regular practice, this gentle, low-impact form of exercise has helped her maintain her mobility while building both physical and mental strength. Clara trained as a Pilates teacher to share how much Pilates can support the body and mind through every phase of life. Her clinical background means she is comfortable working with all kinds of bodies, from international rugby players to clients in their 90s. She is passionate about tailoring each class to the people in front of her, ensuring everyone feels supported and gets the most out of their Pilates practice.

Paulina

Paulina

Yoga Instructor

Paulina found her way out of burnout through yoga practice, starting with strong, dynamic movement (think headstands and arm balances) before going deeper into breathwork and meditation. She qualified in 2022 with intention: to share yoga with others who are navigating the same dance with career transitions, high pressure and burnout. Outside of teaching, Paulina works full-time as a finance systems analyst, which means her classes are built with the weight of real working life in mind. By the end of the class, you'll leave feeling a wave of clarity and energy you didn't know you had left.

Grace

Grace

Yoga Instructor

Trained in both vinyasa and yin, Grace brings a style that's both energising and grounding. Classes blend dynamic, creative sequencing with deep, restorative stretching — designed to help you regulate, restore, and feel at home in your body. Expect to work on inversions, breath work, and flowing sequences.

Bridget

Bridget

Physiotherapist & Personal Trainer

Bridget (Biddy) is a full chartered experienced Physiotherapist and a level 3 qualified personal trainer who is ready to help you achieve your training goals. Being a Physiotherapist gives her a greater understanding of injury prevention and exercising with long term health conditions. Personal training is for everyone. Whether you want to perform better in your sport, gain confidence in the gym or maintain your health as you age, Biddy will provide a bespoke training program built around your needs.

Eliza

Eliza

Pilates Instructor

Trained in mat work and across the full range of Pilates apparatus, Eliza brings warmth, curiosity and a relaxed, supportive approach to her teaching. With experience supporting clients living with persistent pain and a range of health and movement needs, she is passionate about making Pilates feel accessible and welcoming to everyone. Her classes are thoughtfully designed to help you feel strong, energised and move through life with more confidence - whatever your starting point.

Helen

Helen

Pilates Instructor

With over 10 years of experience in the airline industry, her career has always been centred around people, connection and creating memorable experiences. Her own Pilates journey began following an injury, when she discovered movement not only as a pathway to recovery, but as a powerful way to reconnect with the body and restore balance. This experience inspired her to pursue Pilates professionally. She trained in Mat and Reformer Pilates with STOTT PILATES in Toronto, alongside training in Hot Yoga and Yin Yoga. In 2024, she completed her Fully Comprehensive training at Soul Pilates, specialising in Mat, Reformer and Equipment. Her teaching is rooted in the belief that movement should feel both purposeful and enjoyable. She creates considered, uplifting sessions designed to build strength, improve mobility and cultivate a deeper connection with the body. Her goal is for every client to leave feeling stronger, more balanced and energised, carrying that sense of confidence and wellbeing with them beyond the studio. For her, Pilates is a form of self-care — a moment to slow down, reconnect and invest in yourself.

Got Questions?

FAQ's

How do I book a class?

+

Our timetable is launching soon. Once bookings open, you'll be able to reserve classes online through Momence by creating an account, browsing the timetable and securing your place in just a few clicks.

To be the first to hear when bookings open, join our mailing list.

What should I wear to class?

+

Comfortable, breathable activewear is ideal. We recommend clothing that allows you to move freely, and for Pilates, fitted clothing can be helpful so instructors can better observe your movement and alignment, but this is not essential.

Bare feet are suitable for most classes, although grip socks are also welcome if you prefer.

What do I need to bring to class?

+

Just bring yourself and a water bottle if you'd like one.

We provide everything you'll need for class, including yoga mats, blocks, straps and Pilates props. You're very welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer, but it's not essential.

Are your Yoga and Pilates classes suitable for beginners?

+

Absolutely. We offer several classes that are suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced participants.

Our Pilates class focuses on building strong foundations through controlled, low-impact movement, making it ideal for beginners and those returning to exercise.

If you're looking for Yoga, Stretch & Flow is a Vinyasa-style class that improves mobility and flexibility, with plenty of options to suit all abilities. Relax & Restore is our gentlest class, combining stretching, relaxation and mindful breathing to help you unwind.

If you're not sure where to start, we'd usually recommend Pilates, Stretch & Flow or Relax & Restore. If you have any questions, we're always happy to help you choose the right class.

How often should I attend Yoga or Pilates classes?

+

For most people, attending two to three classes each week is enough to notice improvements in strength, flexibility, balance and mobility. However, even one class a week can make a meaningful difference when practised consistently.

If you're working towards a particular goal, recovering from an injury or looking to build a sustainable movement routine, our team will be happy to help you choose the right classes and frequency for your needs.

I have an injury or back pain – can I still attend classes?

+

Yes. Many of our members join us to improve strength and confidence after an injury or while managing ongoing aches and pains.

Our instructors can offer modifications where appropriate, and if you're looking for extra support, our Longevity – Keep Fit & Strong class is led by qualified physiotherapists and designed to help you build strength, improve balance and move with confidence.

If you're unsure which class is right for you, please get in touch before booking and we'll be happy to advise.

If you're wanting to have a Physiotherapy assessment before starting a class you can book in at Comfort Heath right next door.

I have experience with Yoga and Pilates; which classes would you recommend?

+

If you've already built a solid foundation and are looking for more of a challenge, our Power Flow Yoga and Dynamic Pilates classes are designed for experienced participants.

Power Flow Yoga is a strong, energising practice that develops strength, balance, stability and stamina through continuous movement linked with the breath.

Dynamic Pilates is a more challenging full-body Pilates class that focuses on strength, control and muscular endurance through longer, more demanding sequences while maintaining precise, mindful movement.

If you're unsure whether these classes are right for you, our instructors will be happy to recommend the most suitable option based on your experience and goals. Just get in touch.

What are your physio-led strength classes, and who are they for?

+

Our Longevity – Keep Fit & Strong classes are physiotherapist-led strength and movement classes designed to help you stay active, independent and confident for life.

Unlike Yoga or Pilates, these classes place a greater emphasis on building strength, improving balance and maintaining mobility for long-term health. They're particularly well suited to adults aged 50+, people managing osteoporosis or osteoarthritis, or anyone looking to improve their physical resilience and reduce the risk of falls.

You don't need any previous experience, and every exercise can be adapted to suit your ability. If you're unsure whether Yoga, Pilates or Longevity is the best fit, our team will be happy to help you choose, just get in touch.

What's the difference between Yoga and Pilates?

+

Yoga and Pilates both improve strength, flexibility and body awareness, but they each have a different focus.

Pilates places greater emphasis on core strength, posture and controlled movement, while yoga combines movement with breathing, balance and mindfulness to improve flexibility, mobility and overall wellbeing.

Many of our members enjoy both because they complement each other beautifully.

How does payment work?

+

We offer flexible ways to attend classes, whether you're looking for the freedom to book as you go or the value of a monthly membership.

For Yoga & Pilates, you can choose from:
• Drop-in classes
• 5-class passes
• 10-class passes
• Monthly memberships with 4, 8 or unlimited classes

If you'd like to attend our Longevity – Keep Fit & Strong physio-led classes, you can either purchase dedicated class passes or choose one of our any class memberships, which includes access to Yoga, Pilates and Physio-led classes.

Whether you're attending once a week or several times a week, there's an option to suit your routine. You can view our latest pricing on our Pricing page.

What is your cancellation policy?

+

If you can no longer attend a class, please cancel at least 12 hours before it starts. This allows another member to take your place if there's a waiting list.

Late cancellations or missed classes will be deducted from your class pass or monthly membership allocation.

What are the benefits of becoming a member?

+

Our memberships are designed to be flexible, with no joining fees and no minimum contracts.

Alongside discounted class pricing, members also receive exclusive benefits at Comfort Health:
• Bronze Members: 5% off your first treatment
• Silver Members: 10% off your first treatment
• Gold Members: 10% off one treatment every month

If you attend classes weekly, becoming a member is usually the most cost-effective option.
